Shikarpur, Sindh, June 22 (PPI) : Shikarpur, once a centre of education, culture, literature and tolerance, is now considered amongst the worst hit areas of Sindh province regarding bloody tribal clashes and rampant Karo-kari killings. The local citizens, intelligentsia, and teaching community blaming the lack of higher educational opportunities in area for the growing lawlessness and intolerant culture, have launched a campaign for setting up a university in this historic walled city.
