Jun 23, 2008 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Manaccom has had a fluctuating corporate past and moved into online lotteries in 2005. On 23 June 2008, CEO Mike Veverka said that in tight economic times people are prepared to gamble. Australians are warming to the idea of buying lottery tickets online. The company issued a profit warning in August 2007 but has provided several profit upgrades since then, particularly after partnerships with ninemsn and Yahoo!7. It is due to pay a maiden dividend.
