Dreams begin with courageous people who dare to believe, have enough heart to try, enough strength to live, and enough nerve to experience. The results of those dreams can be life-changing and can be the inspiration fueling change in others.

On January 11, I met a young boy who reminded me that it's okay to dream, that dreams can come true and that without them the world would be a very boring place. His name is Nick Nelson. Nick and his family, mother Greta, father Gary, and sister Naomi, came to the U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Colorado Springs to take part in the Amazing Mentors program--a program the U.S. Olympic Committee's Paralympic Division began in 2007. ...
