SK Telecom and SMG to develop new media business
Shanghai. June 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - SK Telecom, the largest wireless operator in South Korea, announced yesterday that it has secured a partnership with Shanghai Media Group (SMG) to collaborate on the development of their new media businesses, including mobile TV and Internet protocol television (IPTV).
"Leveraging each others' expertise and resources, the two parties will strengthen exchange and collaboration over new technologies and operations in the fields of interactive media, mobile TV and IPTV, among others," SK Telecom said in a press release.
