With Austin Powers and Shrek, Mike Myers has given us two of the most memorable comic personalities in years. "The Love Guru" won't be so indelible. As Pitka, America's No. 2 Near-Eastern Self-Help Expert, he is not quite a one-joke character, and the film itself is a shapeless rag bag of gags. It's zany but too aimless to leave a lasting impression.
Pitka, an American child raised in an ashram alongside his boyhood rival Deepak Chopra, is a perennial also-ran in the enlightenment racket. He has a spirituality superstore in the Hollywood hills with his name in neon, but without an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey ...
