Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Appleton, Wis., has introduced what the company called its first all-in-one wire welder generator. The Renegade 180 can be operated as a stand-alone, self-powered unit or can use 230 V single-phase wall power. The unit is designed to eliminate the need for farmers, maintenance and repair specialists, and contractors and fabricators to own both a welder generator for field welding and a traditional plug-in MIG welder for the shop.

Available with either recoil or electric start versions, the Renegade 180 welder generator is powered by an air-cooled Kohler CS10 engine rated 10 hp at 3600 rpm. The 1.8 gal. ...
