Why does cancer cluster?

Cancer is expected to be the major cause of death in the US in 2000. As a result, there are expected to be more studies about the causes of the disease including examining so-called cancer clusters. There has been research determining the high incidence of certain cancers in certain groups in particular regions of the US but the cause of these clusters has not been determined.
