A Leyland beauty queen was the photogenic star of a regional tennis competition last week.
Former Balshaw's High School and Runshaw College student Alix Oakes, 22, took part in the Monkhouse Intersport Preston Tennis Tournament at Fox Lane.
With Wimbledon fever in the air a large crowd watched the finals day which was staged at Leyland Tennis Club, with 10 trophies up for grabs.
