WORCESTER - The sky over Shrewsbury Street looked slightly ominous at 5 last night, but that didn't stop hungry people from lining up outside local eateries for a taste of what was cooking inside.
Fortunately for them, the summer thunderstorms that may have threatened the Taste of Shrewsbury Street Festival held off, and though dark clouds were visible on the horizon, the mood on the street was bright and sunny.
"I've been waiting for this since last year," said Janine Collins, 31, of Worcester. "A few little black rain clouds won't hold me back."
