YOUNGSTERS at a village school got into the holiday spirit during their seaside day.
As part of a seaside topic, reception, Year One and Two pupils at Barby Primary School paid a visit to the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham recently to learn all about the underwater world.
Back at school, during a special seaside day last Tuesday the Year One and Two pupils made sea creature puppets to use in a poem called Commotion in the Ocean.
Sharks, jelly fish, star fish, crabs and sea horses all made an appearance.
