TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1996--ATI TECHNOLOGIES INC.(TSE:ATY) ATI Technologies Inc. today announced that their 3D RAGE game and multimedia accelerator components and boards will include full support for Microsoft's new Direct3D Application Programmers Interface (API).
Direct 3D will provide a standardized 3D platform under Windows 95 that will unleash a wide variety of exciting, compelling 3D software previously not available on the PC. ATI's 3D hardware will provide rich virtual reality graphics and action gameplay previously only available on game consoles.
