Caliterra Bar & Grille shares the same street address as Capital Grille-a favorite restaurant of mine-but there the similarity ends.

The latter, at St. Clair and Ontario streets, excels in every category and typically enjoys a high-powered lunch clientele.

In contrast, Caliterra, on the Wyndham Hotel side of the building at Erie and St. Clair streets, is largely unremarkable. On the plus side, the room is quiet, there is plenty of privacy for sensitive discussions, and if you choose wisely, you can enjoy a decent meal.
