Mar. 7--The owner of Riverside County's oldest shopping mall is seeking a change in lifestyle.
The Riverside Plaza will add "lifestyles" and "family-oriented" stores to fill its 18 vacancies, said new general manager Sandra Quilty.
Stores fitting these categories -- although leases have not been signed- include Pier 1 Imports, the Disney Store, Crate & Barrel, and the Discovery Zone.
"The major focus is searching out the best direction for the center and going after the larger tenants that would (fit) that direction," Quilty said.
Quilty works for Shelter Bay Retail Group of Mill Valley, a management firm hired by Prudential Insurance Co.
