This special issue of the Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology contains invited and peer-reviewed papers presented at the international scientific conference entitled Nutrition, Treatment and Cardiovascular Risk Management held on 24-26 May 2007 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
