A YOUNG mum who watched in horror as her best friend was shot dead today revealed she is still battling nightmares and depression while trying to give her baby boy the best start in life.
Sabrina Murdoch, now aged 20, fled for her life when 16-year-old pal Carolyn Lemm was shot dead in a field in Woodsetts, Rotherham, two years ago.
Carolyn's killer, her 20-year-old ex-boyfriend Lee Smith, then turned the gun on himself.
The pair had been driven to the spot by Smith's mate Adam Briggs, who was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to a nine year jail term - of which he will serve half.
