ORLANDO, FL Rev. George John DeTellis, loving husband of 48 years to Jeanne DiPietro, passed away at his home in Orlando, Florida, on June 26, 2008, after a 9-year battle with prostate cancer. He was 73 years old. In 1957, he graduated from New England Bible Institute in Framingham, Massachusetts. In 1958, he graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. In 1973, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Theology from Assumption Ecumenical Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1959, Pastor George founded and pastored Hillside Evangelical Church in Medford, Massachusetts, and he pastored Calvary Center in Worcester, Massachusetts until 1983. Rev. DeTellis ...
