LOUDON, N.H. - Auto racing, at least in general, is mostly about speed and guts. But like any other professional sport, it's also a game of numbers.
Not in the "I live in my parents' basement and analyze box scores for my rotisserie leagues" kind of way - though NASCAR fantasy leagues are taking off - but in the iconic numerical designation kind of way.
Nowadays, more than paint schemes and sponsors, cars are known by their numbers.
