OLNEY, Md., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Montgomery County's leading public and private healthcare stakeholders recently attended a day-long planning event to kick off the Montgomery County Health Information Exchange (HIE) Collaborative's efforts to improve care for Maryland's uninsured and underinsured population through the establishment of an electronic information exchange between "safety net" clinics and hospital emergency departments.
