DALLAS -- For the second quarter of 2008, the Halter USX China Index (Amex: HXC) was down 1.67%. During the same period, the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 7.44% and the NASDAQ increased 0.61%.

HXC is also pleased to announce the inclusion of two new constituents to its existing index of China-focused, U.S. listed companies including: ChinaCast Education Corp. (NASDAQ: CAST) which provides e-learning and training services to educational institutions, government agencies, and corporate enterprises; and Cninsure, Inc.
