In the world of broadcast journalism, Mike Price has just about done it all.
He has covered every type of news imaginable, from fires to snowstorms to wars abroad. He's shown the community the lighter side of life, with his "good news" features on children, schools and community groups.
And perhaps most notably, he brought to life some of Central New York's most beloved characters, including the hillbilly "Cousin Orky" and the bumbling vampire "Baron Daemon."
Thursday, Price will file his last on-air report for WSYR-TV (Channel 9). He's retiring after 46 years at the station.
