I spent my childhood in Mountain Lakes, N.J.,with five siblings: one sister, two biological brothers and two foster brothers. The latter, Henry and Eduardo, were refugees from Communist Cuba who came to the U.S. on the 1962 "Pedro Pan" airlift.
