DAISY MARC JACOBS from Coty Prestige won the fragrance of the year in the women's luxe category at the 36th Annual FiFi Awards, which were held May 20 at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City.
More than 900 industry executives attended the event, sponsored by The Fragrance Foundation. Coty was the big winner this night, taking home five awards. Notable presenters included Zac Posen, Salt-N-Pepa, Danity Kane, Alyson Hannigan, Cynthia Rowley and Bernadette Peters.
Don Loftus opened the FiFi awards by recalling that in 1973, the first year that the FiFis were presented, just seven trophies were handed out; now the award count exceeds 20.
