Venturing out on your own in the New York real estate market is never easy, particularly in today's wait-and-see market. But Aaron Jungreis, co-founder of Rosewood Realty, has quickly and quietly amassed a lengthy list of deals this year, with about $200 million more in the pipeline.
His latest transaction, a $70 million portfolio consisting of 254 residential units throughout 13 buildings, steered a Fort Lee, N.J.-based firm's first residential foray into the Manhattan market. The Orbach Group, which owns several New York commercial buildings, bought its first multi-family properties--a series of 5-story walk-up apartment buildings located on West 49th Street.
