Proud standards held high.

THE HARBOROUGH branch of the Royal British Legion played host for the first time in several years to the annual county standard bearers' service.

A total of 22 standard bearers from Leicestershire and Rutland branches of the Royal British Legion visited St Dionysius Church in Harborough for the 51st annual service.

The standards are re-dedicated every June with a different location chosen each year.
