ART galleries may be used to a bit of hush but auctions are usually a lot louder - until now.
Agbrigg artist Helen Thomas is holding an auction with a twist to raise money for charities close to her heart by putting one of her acrylic paintings, Transference, up for a silent auction.
All the money raised will be split between Wakefield Hospice and Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes, which recently cared for a member of her family.
