Madison police remained tight-lipped Monday about what led them to arrest the college dropout now charged in the stabbing death of Joel Marino.
A search warrant issued by a Washington County, Minn., judge last week that may provide more details has been sealed, Dane County District Attorney Brian Blanchard said.
Madison police sought the warrant last week in order to obtain a DNA sample from Adam Peterson, 20, a Minnesota native who attended UW-Madison briefly. The state Crime Laboratory reported his DNA matched samples obtained at the crime scene, which led to his being charged with the homicide ...
