CBS' Hassler goes 'Global'.

Patti Hassler, longtime executive editor of CBS' "60 Minutes," has been put in charge of an international effort to develop local versions of the newsmag and push "60 Minutes"-branded digital content.

Hassler will launch the franchising effort, dubbed "60 Minutes Global." She will also focus on "new digital enterprises" and oversee the content produced by "60 Minutes" for cable nets and the Internet, including "60 Minutes" on Yahoo, CBS said.
