ISD tariffs in India are set to reduce as Telecom Commission (TC), the policy making division of the Department of Telecom, is planning to permit the resale of international bandwidth. This move is likely to be welcomed by IT firms, BPOs, banks and small enterprises as the price of international bandwidth will be reduced. The DoT had accepted telecom regulator TRAI's proposals and was awaiting the green signal of the TC.
