Indian telecom operators are expected to show their opposition to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI's) proposals to enable users to make domestic calls via the Internet. Just last week, the regulator had launched a consultation paper to seek the opinion of the industry and the stakeholders on the issue of Internet telephony.
