DES MOINES, Iowa, March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP) today announced it will suspend publication of home garden magazine(TM), effective with the May/June issue. The bimonthly magazine will have published eight issues since its introduction in February 1995.
Meredith Publishing Group President Christopher M. Little said while advertising was strong, the magazine's circulation growth prospects were not meeting the company's requirements. Meredith will look to place as many of the magazine's 22 staff as possible into other positions within the company.
