Twins right fielder Michael Cuddyer missed Saturday's 5-1 loss against Milwaukee because of a strained tendon in his left index finger, and manager Ron Gardenhire said the team will know today whether the veteran needs to go on the disabled list.
Cuddyer visited team orthopedist Dan Buss on Saturday and will be re-evaluated again this morning.
"(The) doctors said if (Cuddyer) comes in tomorrow, and he feels a little better, then we've got maybe two or three days," Gardenhire said. "But if he comes in and he's still really sore, we're looking at probably a DL thing."
Cuddyer was on the DL for 20 ...
