Stuart Holland was the pride of England after emerging victorious at an international bowls competition.
The Bexhill-based talent, 20, won the junior (under-25) singles in the British Isles Bowls Council Championships at Llandrindod Wells BC, Wales.
Asked how his latest achievement compared to the many others which have gone before, Polegrove Bowls Club member Holland said: "It's by far the best."
Holland won both his matches 21-17 at an event which brings together the national champions of England, Guernsey, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales.
