A CHANCE to turn back the clock is on offer at this year's Hartlepool Maritime Festival.
An area of Hartlepool Marina on land next to the Mecca bingo hall has been reserved for veterans events.
They include parades by military bands as well as drills, choirs and a spectacular sunset parade.
"There's loads going on," said Hartlepool Borough Council events officer Katie Hammond who added: "It will certainly add a different flavour to the weekend."
The highlights will include displays by the Yesterday's Heroes re-enactment group which will reconstruct a field hospital and a field headquarters.
