A COUPLE who met at a wedding will have celebrated 50 years together.
Kenneth and Betty Howell first set eyes on each other when they were guests at a friend's wedding.
The couple, who are now both 76 and live in Crofton, married five years later when they were 26.
After they first met, Mr Howell had to do National Service and was away from his wife-to-be for two years, so they had to wait until they could tie the knot.
