IT WAS full steam ahead when the Wakefield Rail Modellers Society celebrated its 50th birthday.
The society invited model enthusiasts of all ages along to learn more about one of Wakefield's most popular rail clubs.
Stuart Roche, the society's publicity manager, said last weekend's two-day party, held at the club's headquarters on Back Garden Street, Wakefield, was a huge success.
