HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven D. Goldstein has been named president, credit for Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) In this position, Goldstein will be responsible for the continued development of Sears Card, with gross receivables of more than $21 billion and a portfolio of more than 38 million customers. He succeeds Jane J. Thompson, who recently was named president, Sears Home Services.
Goldstein, 44, an American Express Co. executive since 1982, most recently was chairman and chief executive officer of the company's American Express Bank, a post to which he was named in 1991. Prior assignments included development of the American Express ...
