Jamii Telecommunications Ltd. (JTL), a Kenya-based telecom service provider, has invested in a submarine fiber-optic cable named East African Marine System (TEAMS), which will link this region with the Middle East. JTL currently runs a metro fiber network in important areas around the capital city of Nairobi that provides reliable and efficient services to its users.
The company said that it has bought a 4 percent stake in the TEAMS project, according to John Kamau, the firm's general manager. JTL now plans to ...
