Pakistan's cell phone imports have fallen by 12.05 percent during the first nine months of this financial year despite robust growth in mobile subscriber numbers.
For July 2007-March 2008, the value of cellphone imports fell to $581.7 million, from $661.5 million in the same period a year back. However, overall telecom-related imports in the country increased by 0.8 percent to $1.64 billion in July 2007-March 2008, from $1.63 billion in the same period a year ago.
