Highlighting the importance of statistical research and analysis in promoting business, Dubai World said that the Statistics Department, the Group's consulting arm, will soon introduce new projects such as the E-Statistics Project to enhance its services.
At a business lunch organised recently by the Statistics Department, Mr. Farid Mohammed Ahmed, Secretary General of Dubai World, lauded the staff at the Department for their efforts in compiling accurate statistics and analyses, and for setting up a comprehensive database for the use of a wide range of business sectors in Dubai and the UAE.
