Midfielder Stupple departs the New Eyrie
Influential centre-half Jon Darby admits he declined opportunities to move up into the Blue Square South before he finally committed his future to Bedford Town this week.
The defender also revealed that he spurned offers from other clubs in the BGB Southern League Premier Division as well as the Unibond Premier Division in order to stay at the New Eyrie.
And, after checking back for pre-season on Monday night and meeting up with his team-mates again after the summer break, Darby said he is delighted to be staying at the club and is excited about the coming season.
