HISTORIC boats, family fun, a music concert and a famous actor all turned out in Braunston over the weekend.
The Braunston Historic Narrowboat Rally, organised by Braunston Marina, saw scores of boats and thousands of visitors head along to the village, which sits at the heart of Britain's canal network.
The show, now in its sixth year since being revived, focuses on restoring and preserving canal boats and their history.
Opened by David Suchet, the show had 75 boats on display, and also saw morris dancers, singers, artists and a host of other crafts for visitors to have a look at.
