A BATTLING girl born without any kidneys joined her friends to raise money for the hospital that gave her a life-saving operation.
Seven-year-old Alice Skinner and the other youngsters from the 34th Hartlepool Rainbow Guide Unit raised more than [pounds sterling]300 after completing a series of fun games and activities.
They included overcoming a simple obstacle course, skipping, and bouncing balls.
A prize raffle supported by older youngsters in the Brownies and Guides saw a total of [pounds sterling]362 raised for the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital in Newcastle.
