NEW Hartlepool FC coach Mark Proudlock is eyeing a place in the Northern League after being handed the reins at Grayfields.
Proudlock was one of three coaches in charge at Pool last season as the side set the pace at the top of the Wearside League, before falling to sixth by the end of the campaign.
The former Northern League player has now been put in sole charge of the coaching team and has outlined some lofty ambitions.
Proudlock does not think finishing in the top two next season is beyond Pool and thinks with a bit of off-the-field help, the club can go on to be a force in the Northern League Second Division.
