THE Police Ombudsman is investigating an incident in which a 25-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Hannahstown on Thursday morning after an earlier incident when a police car was rammed.
The man died after the blue Honda Civic car he was driving crashed on the Glenside Road shortly before 1.50am.
Police said officers spotted two cars being driven suspiciously on the Rock Road about five minutes before. One of the cars then rammed the police vehicle and the two cars then raced away from the scene.
A second police vehicle discovered the car crashed into the side of the Glenside Road with the victim inside. Another 25 year old man was arrested.
