LOCAL racing enthusiasts were certainly not let down as last weekend'd Supermoto race at the Lisburn LeisurePlex brought some of the most exciting racing to the city in many years.
In a wheel to wheel race, David Farmer managed to keep his nerve to win the David Jefferies memorial Supermoto race for the first time.
Farmer figured in a near photo-finish with his Co Tyrone neighbour Alan Morgan with last year's winner David McKee third.
At the end of the 24-lap race the official difference between Farmer and Morgan was just 0.24 seconds.
