RIDGEFIELD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 1996--Pure Tech International, Inc. (NASDAQ:PURT) reported an operating loss from continuing operations of $2.3 million, or $0.09 per share, for the second fiscal quarter ending January 31, 1996.

This compares with a pro forma operating loss of $0.09 per share in the year-ago period. Revenues for the 1996 quarter were $73.2 million, approximately equal to a year ago. Last year's pro forma results include purchase accounting adjustments and discontinued operations.
