Jul.4, (TCA Editions) - Kazakhstan's Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Plant (UKTMK), France's Aubert & Duval (A&D) and Airbus have agreed to set up a facility at UKTMK to make Airbus components, the Kazakh Economics and Budget Planning Ministry announced recently.
UKTMK will forge, roll, fuse and polish heat-resistant titanium products and, in time, produce super-alloys.
The agreement was signed in France on June 11 at a Kazakh-French business forum, staged during Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to France.
