Appeal after man steals handbag containing a large amount of cash, credit cards and cheque book
A disabled pensioner was robbed as she lay helpless in her bed.
The bed-ridden 74-year-old woke to find a man in her bedroom, who escaped with her handbag containing a very large amount of cash, credit and debit cards and a cheque book.
The burglary took place at the woman's home in St John's Avenue, Kempston, at 4.40pm on Saturday, June 21.
