OBVIOUSLY the news from Pringle is very disappointing. However, given the size of the accumulated losses, it will have come as no surprise to many that a global company such as the Fang Bros enterprises represents, has taken such a decision.
The market is constantly changing and the need for lighter, finer garments, after using worsted rather than traditional woollen spun yarns, continues to increase. As a result, those companies totally dependent on the traditional product ranges are finding the pace of changing difficult, and expensive to manage.
