For those of us turning to cosmetic procedures in hopes of looking younger, New Orleans dermatologist Mary Lupo, M.D., offers a sobering observation: "If you want the results of your face-lift to be permanent, you'll have to die the next day. You can turn back the clock, but it keeps on ticking." So how long can you count on various cosmetic-surgery effects to last?
